Nostalgia - Wow.. this was one of the shots I took during the messy week, I opted not to use it, cause I wanted to see her eyes.. but after when I was editing the image it brought back many memories of my child hood. From the age of 9 I was a serious gymnast who trained 16 plus hours a week. When you grow up in a gym the chalk box becomes the place of gossip, escape, and comfort.. Any serious gymnast can tell you stories about their chalk box.. for me it became a place where I could get my thoughts together and where I could escape from the expectations of the coaches at least for a minute or two... Every gymnast has a chalk ritual and for whatever reason the coaches are patient and allow for the gymnast to prepare for the equipement... Therefore this is my nostalgia and yes I grew up in a gym.. ;)
